The story of Ping is a fast paced adventure that includes danger, love, and loss as well as a mysterious dragon that adds to the excitement surrounding Ping’s fate. Ping is a resourceful boy who is cautious and resilient throughout the mishaps in his life, and eventually attains his heart’s desire. I’m looking forward to seeing where the red thread will take him.

I enjoyed the books pace and story line. The story keeps you hooked in and you find yourself wanting to see what happens next. Which I feel is a hallmark of a good book. If you find yourself bored, you don't care when you come back to finish it. This book's pace keeps you interested to see what happens next. The ending finished nicely, setting the reader at logical stopping point. Now we wait to see where the story goes and what the next chapter brings.
